Hi Savvy Readers! Has everyone adjusted to Daylight Savings Time? We lost an hour on Sunday, but at least there’s more daylight to read with! It’s Bookmarks time, our weekly post where we share a roundup of all the goings on from the book world. Let’s get you caught up!

 

1. Cecelia Ahern Publishing PS, I Love You Sequel

Remember the beloved book PS, I Love You by Cecelia Ahern? I get choked up just thinking about it! Well this week, Cecelia announced that she’s writing a SEQUEL! 2. FX to adapt Don Winslow’s Cartel Trilogy for TV

FX Networks will develop bestselling author Don Winslow’s acclaimed Cartel trilogy into a TV series! The show will follow all three novels: The Power of the Dog, The Cartel, and the just published conclusion, The Border. If you haven’t read the seriously epic trilogy yet, know that it spans a 45-year period, following DEA agent Art Keller as he feuds with Mexican drug kingpin Adan Berrera, and later, fights America’s long running War on Drugs. There’s no date on when the show will release, but you can read more about the TV deal here!
