1. America’s Best-Loved Novel

After six months of rigorous voting and with over 4 million votes cast, the Great American Read has been chosen: To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper LeeThe Great American Read is a series that explores and celebrates the power of reading, told through the prism of America’s 100 best-loved novels chosen through a national survey. 2. A YA Novel comes to Snapchat

Books are coming to an unexpected place…Snapchat! HarperCollins partnered with Snapchat to launch a 15-episode series for Snap Originals of The Dead Girls Detective Agency by Suzy Cox. The novel follows a young girl who must solve her own murder to avoid ending up in purgatory. 3. Watch the trailer for Bird Box

And just in time for Halloween, the trailer for Bird Box has dropped! It’s based on the absolutely spine-tingling novel Bird Box by Josh Malerman, about a mother and her two small children who must make their way down a river, blindfolded, while a terrifying creature lurks in the shadows. Birdbox will be released on Netflix on December 21, 2018.
