Happy Friday, Savvy Readers! Summer’s coming to a close which means we have a few more weeks to pack in as many fun activities (and books towards our #50BookPledge goal) as we can! If your summer activities have you behind on book news, keep reading to get all caught up!

1. Barack Obama Shares His Favourite Summer Reads

With summer ending comes fun discussion around what everyone read over the past few months and we especially want to know what Barack Obama has on his bookshelf. Luckily, he took to Facebook this week to share his favourite summer reads which include Educated by Tara Westover and An American Marriage by Tayari Jones. Have you read either of these books, Savvy Readers? See Obama’s full list of recommendations here.
