It’s Friday! Have you had a great week so far? It’s been very exciting and busy here at The Savvy Reader: we interviewed Kate Quinn, author of The Alice Network, here, we talked about books with badass female leads, and we got our hands on Victoria Aveyard‘s War Storm!!! 1. The Hate U Give Movie Release Date Announced
We’re not ready!! The Hate U Give has finally received a movie release date and it’s just in time for awards season. 2. theSkimm Shares Weekend Reading Guide
Now that the weather is warmer we can’t wait to read outside all weekend long! Luckily theSkimm has prepared a guide to summer weekend reads here so that we’ll always have reading options. 3. A Book Vending Machine Is Coming to Toronto
This is so cool! Starting in June, Toronto’s Billy Bishop Airport will be home to a book vending machine featuring Canadian stories. The vending machine can hold 20 titles and will move locations after August 31st. We can’t wait to check it out and see where it goes next! Read more about it here.
