It’s Friday, Savvy Readers! I can’t wait for another weekend of Fall-inspired drinks and books! But first, it’s time for Bookmarks, with all the bookish news, links, and photos from the past week!

1. Puddin’ cover reveal

We love YA author Julie Murphy. We loved Side Effects May Vary, we loved Ramona Blue, and we LOVED Dumplin’. So we are VERY excited for the highly anticipated Dumplin’ companion novel, Puddin’! 2. Becky Albertalli and Adam Silvera co-write a novel

Oh my goodness, we’re so excited! This week, it was revealed that two of our favourite YA authors, Becky Albertalli and Adam Silvera are publishing a book they wrote together! What If It’s Us will be released Fall 2018 and we can hardly wait! For more details about the new book, click here. 3. Giller shortlist

The Giller Prize shortlist was announced this week! We’re so happy to see Transit by Rachel Cusk on the list! The winner will be announced on Monday, November 20. Get more details about the prize here, and share your predictions in the comments!

5. Governor General’s Literary Awards (#GGBooks!)

Fall is award season after all! The Governor General’s Literary Awards recognize great Canadian books. The 14 winners in 2 official languages and 7 categories are said to reflect Canada’s rich diversity. Join us (and HarperCollins Canada) in celebrating the nomination of We’ll All Be Burnt in Our Beds Some Night by Joel Thomas Hynes.
