The Reluctant Queen by Sarah Beth Durst (July 4, 2017)

We just adored Sarah’s first novel The Queen of Blood and we’re so psyched to read the sequel. Amid all the blood, Daleina claimed the throne from the spirits and since then she’s kept her people safe. But she has a secret – she’s dying, so now she must find the best candidate to be queen and keep the land from being torn apart. Make sure you read the first one if you haven’t yet. Such an original story, and perfect for both adult and YA readers!

The Legacy of the Bones by Dolores Rendondo (July 4, 2017)

This is the exciting second book in Redondo’s Baztan trilogy. Featuring inspector Amaia Salazar, who is going forward with the trial of Jason Medina, after he killed his step-daughter. But the trial is put on hold and Amaia is appalled. Jason has committed suicide, and left a cryptic note for Amaia to unravel. Now she has to journey back to the Baztan valley where she feels most vulnerable. I wonder what she’ll uncover..
