The Nest by Kenneth Oppel

As a great fan of Kenneth Oppel, his latest novel THE NEST had me up late tearing through til the end.

Quite different from his previous books, THE NEST is a brisk dark fable in which a young boy unwittingly invites malevolent forces into his home and family.

With truly disquieting twists and vivid supernatural elements, the book is accompanied by shadowy black and white illustrations and a unique cover/jacket design from Jon Klassen that make THE NEST destined to be a future classic Hallowe’en read.

Watch the trailer I created for THE NEST below, and add it to your 50 Book Pledge To Be Read shelf here.
