#HCCFirstLook: I Take You by Eliza Kennedy

ITakeYou#HCCFirstLook is back, and we have a new book for you keen readers out there! We are looking for TEN readers to read advanced copies of I Take You by Eliza Kennedy.

Meet Lily Wilder: New Yorker, lawyer and the luckiest woman in the world. She has a dream job, friends who adore her, a family full of charismatic and loving women, and a total catch of a fiance. But, she has no business getting married.

Bridget Jones’s Diary meets Where’d You Go, Bernadette in this hilarious, and sometimes scandalous, novel that introduces the world to Lily, a character that everyone will be talking about.

Intrigued?

Here’s how #HCCFirstChoice works:

Step 1: We’ll pick 10 readers, from the submissions,  to have the ‘First Look’ at I Take You. They’ll receive an advanced reader copy and a letter from us explaining the program.

Step 2: The 10 readers have a month to read the book.

Step 3: After reading, the #HCCFirstLook participants email us their reviews. We will then share the reviews on SavvyReader.ca.

Step 4: We then ask that the #HCCFirstLook participants do any 3 of the following:

  • Add I Take You to their 50 Book Pledge shelf
  • Add I Take You to a Pinterest board
  • Post a review on Amazon.ca
  • Post a review on Goodreads
  • Instagram a photo of the book
  • Post about I Take You on Facebook
  • Tweet about I Take You

Interested? Send us an email to savvyreader@harpercollins.com, or enter via the HCC Facebook page. Deadline for submissions is Tuesday, April 14th.

Please note, our #HCCFirstLook program is only open to Canadians.
