Divergent: Faction Reading Week!

We’re so excited about Allegiant, the third book in Veronica Roth’s bestselling series that we decided to celebrate the 22nd of every month until the book comes out in October. We wanted to start off in an exciting way so we decided that all week long we’d celebrate with a Faction Reading Week! So, every day we’ll post a list of titles that we think members of each of the five factions would enjoy, want to read, or that represent the characteristics of their faction. And because members of Divergent Nation are just so fantastic, you’ll also get a chance to WIN the books included in these lists!

So, to start off:

CANDOR:

Members of the Candor faction value honesty, are free from bias, and strive to achieve an impartial society. They are frank, open, and sincere as they believe that it is only through honesty that we can hope to achieve impartiality. To Candor members, there’s no such thing as a “little white lie.”

These are the titles that we think members of this faction would appreciate:

And Nothing But the Truth by Kit Pearson

In this sequel to The Whole Truth, Polly thinks that there are no more dark secrets to be kept hidden . . . until her teenage sister makes a huge confession. Will Polly be able to keep this new secret, or will it tear her family apart again?

Another Little Piece by Kate Karyus Quinn

Annaliese Rose Gordon is found wandering down a road miles away from home, one year after going missing. She doesn’t know what happened to her, but she knows one thing for sure: she is not really Annaliese Gordon. She must now unlock the secrets of her past and confront the reality of who, or what, she really is in order to survive.

The Beginning of Everything by Robyn Schneider

Ezra Faulkner used to have it all, until a reckless driver shatters Ezra’s knee, his athletic career, and his social life. Ezra soon finds himself unable to fit in with his former friends or maintain his old life. The struggle to stay true to himself begins as he starts to realize that you can’t always play the role that people expect from you.

We’d love to hear what you would add to this list!
