A Busy Week For Lindsey Kelk in London!

It has been a busy week for Lindsey Kelk and her new book I Heart London, on sale Tuesday. In Lindsey’s new book we follow Angela Clark, who is summoned home to England and faces the daunting task of seeing everything and everyone she had left behind. We watch as Angela deals with her mother’s constant nagging, her ex-boyfriend who just happens to show up, and the arrival of her best friend and current boyfriend. Can she survive the adventure?

Lindsey’s Whirlwind Trip to London

First for Lindsey were a series of signing at WH Smith at their Birmingham and Westfield Stratford locations last weekend. The events were a huge success; Lindsey charmed the audience with her humor and wit, along with many beautifully displayed copies of her book. From there, Lindsey met with some very lucky bloggers who got a chance to sit down with Lindsey for some afternoon tea in Birmingham. Much fun was had as questions started flowing once the tea was poured and it looks like there were many happy, smiling faces near the end of the night.

Lindsey then attended an event for fans hosted by Marie Claire Magazine. Lindsey sat down and answered questions as well as read a short excerpt from I Heart London. Then finally, after many days on the road promoting her book, Lindsey was able to attend her own book launch! It was hosted at Centre Point and by the looks of the pictures, much fun was had. Lindsey was surrounded by friends and family and a few drinks, which according to Lindsey would have been a sufficient launch party, saying “Honestly, I couldn’t have asked for a more amazing few days. For those of you who came out to say hi, it was fantastic to meet you…it was lovely of London to put on a jubilee for me, honestly, a drink would have been more than enough.”
