Join the 50 Book Pledge group on Goodreads!

Wanna learn more about new titles, discuss books, and maybe even win a few books too? Join the group for 50 Book Pledge-rs on Goodreads!

My favourite part is the discussion board. Each month 50 Book Pledge-rs chat about the books they are reading, what they recommend, and how far along on the pledge they are. Pretty cool, right?

I love this update from Jennifer:

“I have read 20 books so far this year, so I am well on track at this point. So far, Wolf Hall has been my favourite read of the year and I am totally chomping at the bit for the 2nd book in the trilogy – coming in May. GAH! I am feeling very impatient to find out how Cromwell gets along in the next book.”

We can’t wait for the next book from Hilary Mantel too!

Another great idea that we’ve picked up from you guys: Using Goodreads to keep track of your 50 books! If you have a 50 Book Pledge shelf on Goodreads be sure to let us know.

The 50 Book Pledge group is moderated by our friends at HCC, so make sure you friend them too. (Here’s HCC on Goodreads!)

GIVEAWAY ALERT:

Did you know we’re now running a few giveaways through Goodreads?

Enter to win advanced copies of Snake Ropes by Jess Richards and The Taliban Cricket Club by Timeri N. Murari.

Stay tuned, we’re just now sinking our teeth into this whole Goodreads thing that you guys have been talking about for awhile now. We can’t wait to see all the cool things we can try! Plus, it’s one more way that we can find out about all the awesome books out there and connect with more savvy readers.
